Testei o Viral Google Nano Banana Pro – Aqui Ficam as Minhas Opiniões Sinceras

You've probably seen the flood of stunning AI-generated images from Google Nano Banana Pro. This Google's latest image model has been making waves since even before its release.

From the hand-written solutions to math problems, to the realistic generated screenshot of a YouTube homepage on Windows 11, we keep seeing the impressive outputs of Google Nano Banana Pro.

But does it actually live up to the hype? What can it really help us with? Are there any drawbacks we don't know?

I spent the last week putting Google Nano Banana Pro to the test and dug deep into its capabilities. And below will be my unfiltered review of this model based on the tests.

TL;DR

If you need to know my conclusions quickly, here is the brief, bullet point version of my Google Nano Banana Pro review:

  • It generates images faster, and supports up to 4K output.
  • It's stronger than Nano Banana 1 in rendering text.
  • It's outputs are more realistic
  • It offers strong consistency in multi-to-one image-to-image generation.

Better, Faster Outputs

The first thing that hit me when I started using Google Nano Banana Pro was the speed. Where the Nano Banana 1 had me waiting around 1 minute for 1 generation, Nano Banana Pro spits out results in about 8-12 seconds.

Now let's talk about the resolution upgrade. Google Nano Banana Pro supports 1-4K image generation. But it actually renders images natively at up to 2K resolution, then uses upscaling to get you 4K outputs.

I tested this by generating the same landscape prompt multiple times and examining the results closely. The native 2K rendering was already impressive – I could see the tiny details clearly.

And the 4K outputs looked also amazing. The details and sharpness still looked good on these upscaled images.

Putting Nano Banana Pro to the Test

I created a number of images testing multiple aspects of Nano Banana Pro.

My goals were simple: find out if this is really as good as everyone says, and how much better it is compared to Nano Banana 1

Text Generation

This was the test I was most excited about. Nano Banana 1 is already impressive in generating text, and I've seen many realistic images with text or infographics created with Nano Banana Pro.

But I wanted to see the results myself, and know if it can keep the high quality consistently.

In my first test of the text generation, I asked both Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana to generate an infographic with the following prompt:

Modern, clean, and minimalist flat infographic illustrating Newton's third law

And I got the following results:

Nano Banana Pro Nano Banana
Infographic from Nano Banana
Infographic from Nano Banana

The infographic is clear and well-designed. And the content illustrating the law is correct.

And the text in this infographic is crisps and properly arranged. It provides a detailed explanation of the law and the images.

The Nano Banana version, on the other hand, is more simplified. It doesn't explain the theory sufficiently, but only provides two blocks with forces applied, and a simple formula. It illustrates the theory badly.

In my second test, I tried translation. I asked two models to translate a billboard image into Chinese.

The image I offered:

Input image for translation

And the prompt I provided:

Translate the text into Chinese, while keeping everything else the same

These are the outputs of the two models:

Nano Banana Pro Nano Banana
Translation output from Nano Banana Pro
Translation output from Nano Banana

Again, Nano Banana Pro does better in translating the text. It recognized and translated a lot more content than Nano Banana, and arranged the translated text like the original one. The translated Chinese text in Nano Banana's output is not even proper Chinese.

Consistency

To test the consistency of Nano Banana, I input a few images, with a prompt to fuse them together into a scene with a special styling.

I did that with both models, as I wanted to see how different they are when handling the consistency and styling.

My inputs for this test are:

Input Images
Image fusion input: sofa 1
Image fusion input: sofa 2
Image fusion input: cat
Image fusion input: chair
Prompt Create a cozy interior scene in black and white with all these elements put together

And here are the outputs from both models:

Nano Banana Pro Nano Banana
Image fusion output from Nano Banana Pro
Image fusion output from Nano Banana

Nano Banana Pro followed my instructions perfectly. It merged the elements well with no distortion of the appearances. And the scene looks natural and realistic.

And for the Nano Banana one, although it's a monochromic image, it's not strictly a black and white scene. And it even changed the look of the cat.
